While a completed TEFL certification is essential for your application, if you don't have one yet, there's no need to worry. We provide an in-house, globally recognized 120-hour TEFL course, which is essential for building a successful career as an online English teacher. • Start Date: Immediate upon recruitment process completion.
• Teaching Hours: Monday to Sunday, 7 PM to 9 PM Beijing time, with extra hours available on weekends.
• Student Base: Children aged 4-11 years in China.
• Class Duration: 25 and 55 minutes (one-on-one classes).
• Remuneration: Base rate of $12 USD per hour.
• Contract Type: Independent Service Provider with The Really Great Teacher Company.
• Location: Work from the comfort of your home.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engage kids students with captivating English lessons.
• Foster a dynamic and enjoyable classroom atmosphere.
• Lead discussions, evaluate student performance, and provide feedback.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher (Any field).
• Accredited 120-hour or above TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or TEYL certification.
• 2 years of teaching experience.
• English first language speakers from the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand.
• Computer literacy with a clean criminal record.
• Engaging communication skills.
• Punctual and precise timekeeping.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• PC: Intel® Core™ i5 CPU @2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or greater, 8GB RAM or greater.
• Backup power: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with 4-5 hours battery life (2000VA) if you live in a country that experiences regular power interruptions.
• Internet: Stable cable/fibre connection, minimum 20 Mbps upload and download speeds.
• Accessories: Noise-cancelling headsets, HD web camera, and a tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment.
